Former TV journalist Anne Ngugi has landed a new job just months after being sacked by K24.
The celebrated news anchor will be co-anchoring the Swahili news with Wilson Kamiti on Christian TV station MBCI.
Ms Ngugi who is known for her mastery of the Swahili language was shown the door by K24 barely 7 months after she was poached from KTN where she had worked for close to a decade.
She announced the good news in a Facebook post that saw many flock to congratulate her.
“That is the way it is. God has blessed me with another job. He is an awesome God," she told her fans on social media.
In an interview with Radio Jambo two months ago, she narrated how she was hurt and how her life changed drastically after being laid off.
Ann said she had to sell her Mercedes Benz to afford money to pay house rent but the money wasn't enough and they (with her family) were forced to go live out of the city.
Many media personalities have lost their jobs this year after they were declared redundant.
So far, all the major media houses have restructured, re-strategised and re-organised to the detriment of media personalities.
