Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong’o on Tuesday made a special appeal to Kenyans, requesting them to help him in his quest to deliver his promises to the people.
Through a post on social media, the governor noted that it was exactly one year since he took oath of office at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground.
“It’s exactly one year down the line since Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o took the oath of office at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground,” stated Nyong’o through his communication Unit.
“Let’s all join hands and help the Governor to deliver the Kisumu promise. Your mind and thoughts are welcomed,” he added.
Governor Nyong'o noted that during his first year in office, he has been able to achieve some of the promises he made, while others are yet to be achieved.
“Indeed there are things we have achieved and still there are those in the pipeline,” he posted.
The Prof concluded the message by inviting all residents of the Lakeside city who have any ideas on how to make Kisumu great to share their thoughts with the county administration.
