A video of President Uhuru Kenyatta warning CS Kiujuri against making fraudulent NCPB payments has surfaced.
An angry Uhuru is seen wagging a finger at Kiunjuri and warning him of dire consequences if the payments are made.
"If you make the payments, you will see," Uhuru is heard saying while wagging a finger at CS Kiunjuri.
He had just finished reading his address during the International Trade Fair at the Jamhuri Show Ground, Nairobi and his lectern was in the process of being removed from the stage.
NCPB payments have been a hot political potato.
Investigations found that millions of shillings were fraudulently paid to individuals for maize that was never delivered.
A number of officials have already been arrested over the scandal as investigations continue apace.
