Another school closed in Nakuru after fire incident

Elburgon Secondary school in Elburgon has been shut indefinitely following Tuesday night's inferno that destroyed a school dormitory.

The school management sent students home saying they will carry thorough investigations into the matter.

Area MP Jacob Macharia has called upon parents, students and residents to join hands in finding solutions to recent fire incidents that has hit Molo constituency. 

Earlier this week, students at Michinda secondary school went on the rampage and destroyed property.

Although the cause of the Tuesday incident remain a mystery even as police and the school's management launch probe, it is said that students might have been involved.

A wave of student unrests has hit the country in the past weeks amid education stakeholders efforts to end the menace.
