Gikaria slams Governor Mbugua over 'shoddy' projects

Nakuru Town East MP David Wairimu Gikaria has condemned Nakuru County Government over what he termed shoddy work being done by the government headed by Governor Kinuthia Mbugua.

Addressing Media in Nakuru on Wednesday afternoon, Gikaria said most of the contracts given in Nakuru are done in shoddy way.

“I am calling on the county government of Nakuru to be serious when it comes to matters of the projects of development citing the Mashambani Bus terminus reconstruction that has failed to continue in unclear circumstances," said Gikaria.

“I am a friend to Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and I will not work with him on shoddy projects, he must ensure the development projects in Nakuru reflect the public funds used not issues like the ones experienced in Elburgon of the toilets and then now we have this one of Mashambani Bus Terminus,” said Gikaria.

Nakuru County CeC for Roads, Transport and Public Works Eng. Joel Maina Kairu admitted there was a challenge on the issue but said they are working to sort out.
