AFC Leopards have revealed that they are planning to promote a number of players from the junior team 'Cubs' ahead of 2017 season due to financial constrains the side is facing.
According to Futaa, the side is planning to part ways with some 12 players in the December transfer window and head coach Stewart Hall has revealed that he will sign at most eight players due to lack of funds at the club.
Hall says that the junior team has good players and it will be interesting to see how they build their performance with the senior side in the 2017 season where they expect to redeem their glory.
"So far six players have left the club and six are not in my plans so that means 11 or 12 players going out but I will not sign an equal number because there are no finances. I will bring on board seven or eight and use some good players from the youth team," he said.
"There are some quality players in the youth team who I believe given a chance in the senior side will deliver, some have been training with the senior team and there are lots of positives to note," he added.
Those whose signatures have already been captured include returning man Duncan Otieno (Rangers) and Dennis Sikhayi (Western Stima).
