Mark Too may have been poisoned - Lawyer
Eldoret based lawyer Simon Lilan, who also represented deceased MP Mark Too, has rubbished reports of a postmortem report done on the MP which indicated that he died of a heart attack.

The lawyer, who is also a relative of Too, said that there had been an attempt to murder the former legislator and his wife. He claims that Too would have been poisoned slowly over political matters and by people who wanted part of his estate and wealth.

He further claimed that there had been an attempt on Too's widow, Mary, shortly after his death.

"I found Mary having breathing difficulties in her home. She was suffering from high blood pressure," he said.

Lilan added that there was a woman in the compound who was stopped from pouring cold water on Mary. "She would have collapsed and died had I not intervened and ordered she be taken to hospital," he added.

The family has warned the lawyer to deceased from making those claims through spokesman and burial committee chairman Jacob Yego.

Too's second wife Sophie has also called for an end to speculation surrounding the death.t
