Opinion: Jubilee has sensed defeat resorting to harassing opponents
The move by Jubilee government to withdraw governors Ali Hassan Joho and Amason Kingi's security details is a show of immaturity and despotic governance.

This is proof that the Jubilee regime has sensed defeat in the coming general elections and has embarked on intimidating leaders allied to the opposition.

The President ought to respect the fact that all elected governors are entitled to state security. It is not a favour but a constitutional requirement.

Governors Joho and Kingi are being frustrated for taking on the president over the launch of Kibaki's coalition government projects. Uhuru should let the truth prevail over lies and public relations gimmicks.

Things must be put as they ought to be.

Kenyans deserve better services than the mere public spats and lies.
