4 things Uhuru promised Joe Kadenge

Last week football legend Joe Kadenge appealed to to President Uhuru Kenyatta to visit him.

Kadenge requested the head of state to meet him considering that he had met all the three former presidents.

President Kenyatta honored Kadenge's request and paid him a visit on Sunday afternoon at his South B home in Nairobi.

During the visit, President Kenyatta made a number of promises to ailing Kadenge.

President Kenyatta ordered the immediate formation of the National Heroes Council whose sole purpose will be to look into the welfare of heroes.

The president called on the treasury to allocate Sh300 million to the council to cater in order to streamline operations.

The Head of State further called on the National Health Insurance Fund to cater for Kadenge's hospital bill.
