Setback for W.Stima in rookie pursuit
Western Stima's pursuit of Chemelil Sugar goalkeeper Samuel Odhiambo has hit a grid lock due a release clause hitch.

Reports indicate that Odhiambo's contract contains clauses that prevent him from signing for any other club before his contract is over.

"There is an exit clause in his contract that stipulates the terms under which he can leave. If he can get taht sorted out then we are ready to receive him," Western Stima coach Henry Omino is quoted by Sportpesanews.

Western Stima are seeking to boost their squad ahead of the 2017 season after losing key players to rival teams.

Already, last season's Most Valuable player Kenneth Muguna was poached by KPL giants Gor Mahia.
