In Narok, Governors Joyce Laboso of Bomet, Governor Samuel Tanui of Narok and Professor Paul Chepkwony said they will take advantage of the unity that they have acquired to campaign for Deputy President William Ruto in 2022."After President Kenyatta's historic win in this year's election, we have now turned the focus on the Deputy President and we are sure he will become the fifth head of the state," said Governor Tanui after being sworn in.Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro while representing Mr Ferdinand Waititu in Nakuru, said Nakuru and Kiambu will play a sensitive role in ensuring that the Deputy President suceeds Kenyatta in 2022.He added that they have a plan to deliver 1.5 million votes to Mr Ruto in 2022 elections."We have decided we shall vote as a block and give Ruto our support," Nyoro said.However, former Governor William Kabogo of Kiambu said that Kiambu will not give support to Ruto in 2022.
