Media personality Mary Kilobi has opened up about her marriage to COTU boss Francis Atwoli.
In a YouTube channel video, Kilobi highlighted that she is in love with Atwoli and they have future plans together.
According to Kilobi, she met Atwoli is 2005 and they have been very good friends ever since.
"...we are very good friends. Anybody close to us knows that we are very inseparable," she said.
Kilobi noted that Atwoli refused to be her boyfriend since he was only interested in marriage alone.
"Our friends never expected it. He(Atwoli) said he does not want to be my boyfriend or anything that is not marriage. I reached a point I dated many people and I felt like he treated me so well, respects me and shows me, genuine love," Kilobi opined.
Kilobi added that since meeting Atwoli, they even talked only once a year not knowing that they will at some point become an item.
"In 2011, we would talk even once in a year and since then we have been in touch on a regular basis. He would come home in Bungoma since he is a family friend," she said.
The KTN presenter hit back at critics who claimed that her love was based on money.
"If people doubt that there is love then people who hang around me believe there is love. Atwoli loves me and being his status people will say it is his money. It's not about his money," she said.
Recently, the marriage of Atwoli and Kilobi has become the talk of the town since many did not expect it.
