In a hard tackling interview on Citizen TV on Tuesday, Murkomen, who had seemingly lost maize farming debate to Kutuny, claimed that the second term legislator was on US radar over links to controversial Akasha sons.

"As we are speaking, CIA and FBI are tracking you. You're on their radar, are you aware of that? Your days are numbered," fired Murkomen.

Last week, a local daily reported that a sitting minister, a popular governor who likes confrontations and an MP from Rift Valley are being pursued by US over drug trafficking links and their closeness to the Akasha brother's who were extradited.

But Kutuny dismissed the latest claims, insisting that it was another 'useless propaganda' by a team allied to Deputy President William Ruto to taint his reputation.

"I don't know about that maybe he tells us. The other week it was about ICC cases and today is US. Very diversionary and unfocused move to run from reality," he argued.

Mr Kutuny along with Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter and their Moiben counterpart Silas Tiren have openly accused Ruto of allegedly orchastrating maize farming stalemate.

The two leaders face moderator Hussein Mohammed hard times in controlling them after they decided to trade burbs towards each other.
