Deputy President William Ruto has found himself on the receiving end hours after bashing Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju.
In a tweet on Sunday, the DP said he was surprised with the extent at which the ruling party had become liberal to an extent that Tuju was working as the opposition's strategist.
"So our democracy is so liberal that the SG of the ruling party has become the chief strategist of the opposition!! Maajabu," he tweeted.
There have been calls by MPs allied to DP asking for the resignation of Tuju who has rubbished the calls saying that he was unbothered.
Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) expressed mixed opinions regarding DP's tweet despite earlier sentiments where he downplayed the existence of cracks within Jubilee.
A number expressed savage reactions reminding of instances when other leaders dumped their parties for Jubilee and he celebrated. The recent case is when Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa was expelled by his party for working with Ruto.
