A new survey by Infotrack Harris has indicated that Governors Josphat Nanok, Okoth Obado, Kenneth Lusaka and Martin Wambora of Turkana, Migori, Bungoma and Embu counties respectively would easily retain their seats.

Nanok of ODM has an approval rating of 77.7% against Senator John Munyes of Jubilee at 14.3%.

Governor Lusaka enjoys a popularity rating of 52.2%, with Ford Kenya Party’s Wycliffe Wangamati having an approval rating of 31.9%.

In Embu, Governor Wambora leads with 48.4%, Senator Lenny Kivuti of Maendeleo Chap Chap comes a distant second with 26.2% while Party of National Unity (PNU) Kithinji Kiragu has an approval rating of 0.8%.

The polls, however, suggest that Nyandarua Governor Daniel Waithaka would lose his seat to former Secretary to the Cabinet, Francis Kimemia. Kimemia has an approval rating of 66.7% while Waithaka has a 9.3% approval rating.
