The National Super Alliance (NASA) Founder and ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi has been unanimously endorsed by the opposition outfit (NASA) Summit to be the Chairman of NASA National Campaign Committee (NACACO).

This comes after a proposal to the Summit made by NASA flag-bearer Raila Odinga.

The Summit comprises party leaders of the five anchor parties Raila (ODM), Wiper Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Moses Wetang'ula (Ford-Kenya) Mudavadi (ANC) and Isaac Ruto (Chama Cha Mashinani).

NACACO will be the apex campaign decision-making unit that will coordinate the NASA presidential campaign and the overall NASA campaign machinery.

Mudavadi will now preside over high level research ventures and strategy team of experts, communications, mobilisation of resources, operations and logistics, and will be supported by a 24-hour presidential secretariat.

He will head a NACACO team of ten highly qualified professionals seconded by partner parties to oversee a massive structure which runs through and is replicated in the 47 County Campaign Coordinating Committees (CCCCs), in 290 constituencies, the 1,450 wards to the 40,000 polling stations.

"I have graciously accepted to play this pivotal role because I believe a win for NASA is a win for Kenyans. We have little time for sideshows so we are going flat out for the Jubilee jugular," Mudavadi said on Friday.
