If the death of Barbara Wangechi Kamau in the Fly-Sax Cessna C208 aircraft crash last week brought agony to the country, it more than broke the life of one other person.
The life of her fiancee Austin Munyalo Mbalo has swung into despair as he tries to come to terms with her demise.
The two were evidently deep in love as revealed by the social media posts where they made references to each other in moments of laughter and fun.
"Can you tell we love ice cream and denim too? Let me tell you something. true love always wins. Even when it's love for food you'll recognise it," Barbara once posted of Munyalo.
A heartbroken Munyalo has since deleted all the posts on his IG account.
Barbara perished together with nine others including co-pilot Jean Mureithi.
