Another NASA governor risks losing his position after being suspected to have forged his academic certificates in the run-up to the August 8 polls.

The Tana River governor Dhadho Godana has been accused of using forged papers in an election he won on an ODM ticket. The petition was filled by a voter.

Dhadho plea to have the case dismissed failed with the Lady Justice Asenath Ongeri directing the Commission of University Education to ensure that in seven days authenticity of the papers is confirmed.

Ongeri said she will give her ruling after the report from the Commission on University Education.

Dhadho becomes the third NASA governor pulled into the forged academic papers scandal after his Mombasa counterpart Hassan Joho and Taita Taveta's Granton Samboja.
