World 1500m champion Asbel Kiprop has won his 1500m Heat Four during the Athletics Kenya track and field meeting in Eldoret, Friday.
Asbel who has won the world 1500m three times, clocked 3:44.8 leading Geoffrey Kibet 3:45.1 in second to qualify for the finals set for Saturday.
World Cross country champion Geoffrey Kamworor also secured victory in the 1500m Heat One after timing 3:41.1 beating James Tenai in second with 3:41.7.
In 10000m men, Ethiopia Great Run second finisher Jorum Lumbasi timed in 29:16.7 to win the race beating Bernard Kimeli to second in 29:18.7 and Daniel Kipchumba placed third in 29:29.5.
Noah Kipkemboi came fourth in 29:42.0 as Geoffrey Kipsang followed 30:04.8 and Mike Boit 30:08.4 .
The athletes are searching for qualifying times for the IAAF World Championships set for August in London.
