A dispute has occurred between Lenah Koinange the late Minister Mbiyu Koinange's daughter and Nairobi House Limited over a prime acre land worth Sh2 billion.

Nairobi House Limited filed a case through Lawyer Philip Nyachoti to stop Lenah from acquiring the land on grounds that they had a valid title deed with a 999years lease from 1910.

Lawyer Philip Nyachoti argued that the land had been owned by Nairobi House Limited until 2016 when Ms Lenah invaded it by using thugs and started constructing a perimeter fence around it.

However, Ms. Lenah claims that the land in question was an inheritance from her father and that the company is a ghost entity not registered in Kenya, therefore, they want to forcefully grab that land from her.

"The company made several complaints and pleas to the government authorities to help it protect the land but has not received any assistance. Even the county government of Nairobi declared that construction on the land was illegal but no action was taken," said Nyachoti.
