China is adding to the global warning of the planet yet in article after article since Trump dropped out of the Paris Climate deal, China is being heralded as the new world leader in climate change...Really?China is actually exporting coal energy plant financing and construction outside China, into Kenya. Kenya being the first coal plant on the East African Coast. This adds greatly to Kenya's carbon footprint which is currently low, while China complies with the Paris Climate Deal by merely building elsewhere and reaping the financial benefits.
This is the true story: that the low carbon China has agreed to by sticking to the 2015 Paris Climate treaty is no better than the carbon China was putting back into the atmosphere before they signed the Paris Treaty, only it's being exported to the Unesco World Heritage Site in Lamu, Kenya - for Kenyans to choke on.
The truth is that China is merely saving its own people from pollution while they wear masks and millions of homes have air filters to combat the toxic pollution from coal fired power plants, but they only signed the Paris Agreement TO SAVE THEMSELVES -- exporting their carbon footprint planing to build fifty coal fire energy plants across Africa.
