Businessman Chris Kirubi was on Monday flew to the US for specialized treatment after spending some time in a top hospital in the country.

In a memo to Centum Investment staff through its CEO James Mworia, the report stated that Mr. Kirubi traveled to the united states from further medical scrutiny.

He, however, disputed reports doing rounds that the businessman was in a critical, stating that they had a good time and the businessman was in high spirits.

Kirubi is the major shareholder of the NSE listed centum group with an ownership of 28.4 percent.

Kirubi also has interest in Real Estates, broadcasting among other disciplines.

He is also the chairperson of Brand Kenya which is aimed at marketing the country to international investors and tourists.
