AFC Leopards will play most of its home matches at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

This comes after Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi was closed for renovations.

Leopards’ chief executive officer Ronald Namai confirmed movement of the fixtures.

Other clubs that will be affected by the Kasarani closure are: Gor Mahia, Sofapaka, Tusker FC and Mathare, among others.

“The closure of Nyayo and Kasarani will obviously affect us and other Nairobi based clubs, it will be difficult to have one venue for  our home matches. Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos, Afraha in Nakuru, Thika Municipal Stadium, Mumias Sports Complex are all options for us but Machakos is our preferred choice because its closer to Nairobi which will be good for our fans and also it has good facilities. But it will all depend with its availability on match days,” Namai told Futaa.com.
