Detectives have now written to the headmaster of Tom Mboya Primary School in Mombasa County in order to find out if he sat his primary education exams there.

Joho who had been accused by the state of forging his 1992 examination certificate and awarded himself a grade that saw him gain entry into the University of Nairobi for a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management has since denied the claims.

The certificate that Joho had presented were later found to be forged, forcing the detectives to swing into action and dig deep into his education background.

Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission Deputy CEO Michael Mubea sought find out detailed information on whether or not Joho sat his KCPE and the grades he got.

While addressing the press at a past event on his alleged forged papers, he said he was so proud of his grades and he hope to inspire others who did not make it in life after failing their exams.
