Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai has pleaded with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to ditch NASA before things become hotter and worse for him.

Nyamai who ditched Kalonzo’s Wiper party and joined Jubilee, says that the former Vice President is wasting time clinging on NASA leader Raila Odinga.

In an interview with the People Daily, Nyamai who won re-election on Jubilee party in the recently concluded general election accused Kalonzo of ignoring their earlier advice to ditch the opposition.

She said that Kalonzo stands to gain nothing from NASA following Raila Odinga’s defeat in the recently concluded polls.

“I want to advice my brother Kalonzo Musyoka to wake up and get out of NASA and rebuild his political career after their recent loss to President Uhuru Kenyatta,” she said as quoted by the People Daily.

Nyamai said that Kalonzo blew away an opportunity to be in government. She said that the Wiper leader was blinded by ODM leader Raila Odinga to stay in NASA.

He added that Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential bid will remain a dream if he remains in opposition. Nyamai said that Ukambani people have moved on adding that their focus is to work with the ruling government for development.

She said that Jubilee government is the only hope Kamba people have in terms of development.

The Kitui South lawmaker is among Kamba politicians who declared support for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

On Monday, a section of Kamba poll losers led by outgoing Kitui senator David Musila pledged their support for Jubilee.

The poll losers said that opposition has nothing to offer the Kamba community.

NASA lost the August 8 polls to President Uhuru Kenyatta. The opposition however disputed the results and is expected to file a petition to challenge Uhuru’s re-election in the Supreme Court.
