There was drama on Saturday morning during the ongoing search for the tragic helicopter crash victims at the Lake Nakuru.

This is after two groups of divers argued over who should take credit for the finding and retrieval of a body of one of the crash victims.

Veronica Muthoni's body, which had been trapped in the chopper wreckage, was recovered on Friday and was taken to Umash Funeral home.

The recovery caused friction between The Sonko Rescue Team and the Kenya Navy as each claimed credit for the operation.

According to the Sunday Nation, The Sonko Rescue Team accused the section of Kenya Defence Forces of taking 'undeserved credit' for the recovery.

"We have been coming here early in the morning before them but we are surprised to see that today they want to take control," said Musa Juma, leader of The Sonko Rescue Team.

The search operation delayed for two hours after the group, which is a brainchild of Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, vowed to ground the operation until the issues were ironed out.

However, the dispute was cleared after Kenya Navy captain reconciled the two teams in a meeting.
