Activist Boniface Mwangi has opened up why he is eyeing for the Starehe Constituency parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
He insisted that he would view for the top seat even if he was going to fail.
He however noted that he opted to run for Member of Parliament post since he has no degree.
“Let me tell you, if I had a degree, I could vie for president because there is no one worth to run for presidency. Even now I'm running for Starehe Mp seat because there is no one who is running for the seat that is going to change Starehe for me,” said Mwangi.
“Even if I would not have won, I would have elevated a debate in this country,” he added.
The Ukweli Party ticket aspirant stated that he was yet to decide who to support for presidency ahead of the August polls.
According to him, there is no one who has convinced him, that they would fight corruption and tribalism in the Country.
“My vote is very precious. I want someone who is going to tell me what he is going to do about corruption. I want right now before the next election, Raila Odinga to tell me what he’s gonna do about corruption, and Uhuru Kenyatta what he’s gonna do about corruption and what they have done about it,” he said, during a television interview, Friday.
