[Photo: nation.co.ke]A grisly road accident at Kipsitet, Kericho County, has claimed at least eight lives, and left five others with severe injuries.This is after passenger 14-seater matatu collided with lorry, Sunday.Cause of the accident remain unclear, even as the injured, including the lorry driver, were rushed to Kericho District Hospital.According to former Roads Cabinet Minister Franklin Bett who arrived at the scene of the accident, drivers should exercise caution while on the road to avoid accidents.He termed the accident as unfortunate, adding that most drivers have been breaking safety regulations.According to the Daily Nation, Bett called on relevant stakeholders to ensure rogue drivers are dealt with accordingly to save lives.
