The European Union Election Observation Mission (EUEOM) has urged any aggrieved parties in the just concluded election to seek legal redress instead of working to tear the country apart.

The mission also stated that in analyzing the results of the just concluded repeat presidential elections, they found out that there was a great improvement in terms of transparency.

“The complaints from the recent elections should be channeled to the court of law since IEBC and the Judiciary are two independent and constitutionally mandated institutions,” said the mission’s chief observer Marietje Schaake.

She added that politicians and political parties need to talk and seek long-lasting solutions for their political differences.

The report from the observer mission showed that there was an improvement in mathematical accuracy during this election than it was on the August 8 one.

It also stated that forms were available in time more than they were during the last election.
