Former Tana River Governor Hussein Dado has asked Kenyans to go slow on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s remarks after the Supreme Court nullified his win in the August 8 presidential contest.

Dado said Uhuru is “a human being like any other person,” the Star has reported.Dado made the remarks Thursday when he joined religious leaders, elders, women and youth to pray for Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto to win the repeat presidential election.The group promised to campaign for UhuRuto to ensure they get 70 per cent of the county’s votes come October 17.According to the IEBC results, President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto garnered 46% of the votes in Tana River County during last month’s national elections.The prayer meeting was held at Oda in Garsen constituency.
