[Photo|@FerdyOmondi]Kenyans across the country are glued to their television sets for the major announcement by the Opposition leader, Raila Odinga.The Wednesday announcement which was scheduled for 2:30pm, was moved to 3pm, by the National Super Alliance (Nasa) organisers.However, by 4:15pm, Nasa top leadership had not come out for the announcement.It started at around 4:20pm, with Odinga, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and James Orengo, leading it.

Isaac Ruto and Moses Wetangula were not present. Mudavadi said the two had rushed out of Nairobi for urgent matters, and were aware of the agreed matters.

The event takes place at the Nasa's Okoa Kenya Offices at Lavington Nairobi.Several media houses, both local and international arrived early at the venue, to set up their equipment.Hundreds of Opposition leaders including the recently elected and those that lost in the August 8 polls, arrived for the announcement.
