Bandari FC Public Relations Officer Mohamed Abdulrahman has heaped praises on the recently-commissioned Standard Gauge Railway passenger train, saying it's a game-changer in the team's transport system.

While backing the team to improve performance due to the new transport system, the PRO said the train will ease the fatigue that players usually experience after traveling long hours by road for matches played outside Mombasa."We will have our maiden ride on the SGR when we play against Uweza in Machakos in the GOTv tournament. I feel it's a big boost, and the fact that the players will reach the destination faster, which has not been the case, will curb fatigue,” said Abdulrahman, as quoted by soka.co.ke.Bandari FC will play the third-tier side during their first match of the GOTv shield on Sunday, at the Kenyatta stadium, Machakos.The Dockers are aiming to return to winning ways after going four matches without a win with their last game against Western Stima ending in a barren stalemate.
