Nakuru town main stage onlookers have been treated to a drama on Monday evening after a former Kiamaina ward aspirant was beaten up over voter bribery claims. Robert Muthui was confronted paying bus fare and dishing out Sh50 note to passengers heading to Kiamaina at Maili Sita stage.
After word went down in few minutes, touts alleged to be affiliated with Jubilee candidate in Kiamaina Isaac Wahome alias Jambo Kenya raised concerns. The aggravated supporter man-handled him off the bus stage.
In his defense, Muthui accused the touts of malice.
"There is nothing wrong by being philanthropic. After all, I am not a candidate for any seat," lamented Muthui.
Muthui was floored in Jubilee nominations and is said to have joined hands with Independent Candidate Charles Mwaura as a protest to the shambolic party primaries.
