The County government of Homa Bay will pay every NASA demonstrator who became a victim of police brutality a sum of Sh150, 000.

Homa Bay MCA’s have established a fund that will take care of the families of those killed or injured by the alleged police brutality during the demonstrations.

The County Assembly leader of majority Richard Ogindo moved the motion and it was passed in the assembly. Separately established was also a bill passed to enable the government pays mortuary fees for those killed in the chaos.

“We want to make sure that we stand with solidarity with the NASA supporters who were affected during the demonstrations when our leader Raila Odinga was seeking justice,” said Ogindo.
