A head teacher in Glgil was in for a rude shock after he came face to face with TSC boss Nancy Macharia while drunk.
Macharia had gone to inspect distribution of KCSE examination at the Gilgil deputy county commissioner’s office when the head teacher turned up drunk to collect the papers.
The principal of Mawaka Secondary School in the sub-county looked so confident in the drunken nature. He even reportedly engaged the CEO in a verbal exchange.
The teacher. Who was identified as Mr. Masibo was angered when Macharia asked him why he had reported to work in that state.
He, in exchange, told the CEO that he was not drunk as his colleagues were claiming. He said he only woke up late and was rushed to collect the examination papers.
He was later arrested under the order of Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha.
