Oloo who spoke during an interview on Radio Ramogi said a helicopter on standby at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi was to be dispatched to Kisumu to pick him had he agreed to shelve his defection to the opposition.

"I had to lie to them I will book a flight to Nairobi and there was no need of dispatching a chopper to pick me up," Oloo said.

He said the planned airlift was a clear pointer that Jubilee had panicked on realising he was leaving the ruling coalition.

He, however, did not name the Jubilee officials behind the arrangement.

Oloo recently announced his departure from Jubilee at a press conference in Kisumu before he addressed a rally at the Jomo Kenyatta Sports Ground in Kisumu town.

Jubilee, has, however, downplayed his departure claiming he will not add any value to the opposition.

Oloo has threatened to reveal how Jubilee plans to rig the 2017 general election.
