Kisii County Deputy governor Joash Maangi has promised to be loyal to his boss Governor James Ongwae in the next five years to benefit county residents in development.

According to Maangi he will work closely with Ongwae hand in hand to see they have delivered services to county residents

Maangi said differences they had before with his boss were resolved positively and agreed on what they are going to do after being reelected in Kisii County.

“I promise that I will be loyal always to my boss and we will deliver in the next five years because you reelected us to do development,” said Maangi.

He lauded county residents for keeping trust in them by reelecting them to complete all their projects they had already initiated in different parts of the county.

Before August 8 polls Maangi and Governor Ongwae differed prompting Maangi to ditch ODM party for Jubilee but thereafter Maangi rejoined ODM party and he deputised Ongwae.

Maangi was speaking in Kisii town on Wednesday.
