Kisii county senatorial aspirant Omingo Magara has announced to contest for presidential seat come 2022.
Speaking on Thursday at Kisii sports club Magara said he will be one term senator and he will go for top country seat.
“I request to elect me as your senator during August 8 polls, 2022 I will go for presidential post because you have asked me to do so,’ Magara tell residents.
He also added that PDP party will unite Kisii community to have a bargaining power nationally
“Kisii community will belong at high table 2022 because we have numbers, we need to have space nationally,” added Magara.
He also called on his supporters to protect his votes on August 8 pools to avoid rigging of votes.
This is the second round Magara is trying to clinch the senatorial seat since he lost to Chris Obure who won on ODM party in 2013 elections.
