Bahati Constituency Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri has issued a warning to any member of the Mt Kenya region against betraying Deputy President William Ruto in his quest to lead the nation in 2022.
While addressing more than 200 polling agents that acted for him in the recently concluded general elections, Ngujiri vowed to fight for William Ruto to his Last Breath come 2022.
“Wale wachache wanasema hawatauga deputy wetu mkono 2022 ni wabinafsi na hawawakilishi eneo la mount Kenya. (The few politicians saying they will not support Hon. Ruto in 2022 are selfish and do not speak on behalf of the entire community)," says Ngunjiri.
Ngunjiri was elected for a second term under the Jubilee banner, says the DP has remained faithfully and selflessly behind President Kenyatta and his support is witnessed on the success of the Jubilee party in the just concluded polls.
“It will be politically and morally wrong to support any other candidate for the presidency citing the work done by the Deputy President for President Uhuru and the whole country,” adds Ngunjiri.
Mr Ngunjiri has asked his agents and Bahati residents to be ready to campaign for William Ruto as a gratitude gesture for the support he has accorded President Kenyatta.
