Jubilee has surprisingly changed its stand on NASA coalition's call for reforms and amendments in order to restore peace and eas political anxieties that have hit the country.

This is supposed, according to leaders across the political divide, lead to constitutional alterations.

On Wednesday, members of the clergy, in a press address, outlined the need for the constitution to be amended to include the position of the prime minister, two deputies and the reintroduction of the office of official opposition leaders.

NASA had earlier on laid down procedures and its demands to have the constitution changed in orders to avoid political differences that hurt the common citizen.

However, parliament leader of Majority Aden Duale said Jubilee has no problem with having sections of the constitution amended so long as the right parliamentary procedure is followed.

"We cannot change the law to award jobs to few political elites," said Duale adding that the process must be to the satisfaction of 45 million Kenyans.
