Kwale governor hopeful Chirau Ali Mwakwere has asked the incumbent, Salim Mvurya, to prepare for a thunderous beating on election day.

Mwakwere said he has the political experience and numbers to floor Mvurya, adding that the Governor has no idea what is in store for him on August 8.“Mvurya should prepare for a thunderous beating because even Jubilee party will not save him from locals wrath on August 8,” said Mwakere, as quoted by the People Daily.The former Kenyan Ambassador to Tanzania claimed that residents are tired of Mvurya’s leadership, and accused him of discrimination and selectivity in distribution of development projects.Mwakwere said his political experience will bring change and propel development if elected governor.He urged residents to support his bid and ignore propaganda being propagated by the Jubilee party.Mwakwere is seeking to unseat Mvurya on a Wiper Party ticket.The two politicians have been engaging in public spats, with Mvurya terming Mwakere a political reject.Mvurya, who ditched ODM, is seeking re-election on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.
