Rivalry between NASA presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and former Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu was rekindled in Monday as campaigns enter homestretch.

While Ngilu is seeking to unseat Kitui governor Julius Malombe, Kalonzo is fronting Malombe despite working with Ngilu in NASA coalition.

Although Kalonzo endured difficulty in popularizing the incumbent at Mwingi, he however urged locals to adopt six piece voting pattern.

“I am happy we are speaking in one voice as a community but Wiper needs numbers in National and County Assemblies and therefore Ngilu is part of the competition,” he said.

“We are going to win presidency but I don’t want to be deputy without governors and foot soldiers to implement our agenda,” he added.

Despite supporting the National super Alliance, Ngilu has however not committed her Narc party to any agreement with the coalition.
