A Kenyan woman has been jailed in the UK to serve a two-year-sentence.

According to the Standard, Kisella Hillman was found guilty of stealing millions worth of Kenyan shillings from an elderly woman who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.

The UK court said Kisella ‘systematically ‘helped herself’ with Sh6,797,182 that belonged to Kathleen Brindle after whom she had been entrusted to look.

“...shortly after the money disappeared, you travelled to Kenya. You say the money went to an orphanage in Kenya, but have not been able to provide a scrap of evidence to support that. The sad fact is that you are a congenital liar...” said the judge while making the ruling.

The 27-year-old Kenyan had denied charges of stealing Bridle's £4,000 cash and other two cases of stealing £15,500 and £32,000, totaling Sh6,797,182.

She was however found guilty of all the three charges after a six-day trial held at Taunton Crown Court.

Her sentence was pronounced to start on May 19.
