President Uhuru Kenyatta has ordered the new district to be opened at Etago in south Mugirango constituency Kisii County
His move comes after area residents demands the district to benefit them in many operations than looking for services at a far distance from the area.
Speaking today on Monday at Gusii stadium, Kenyatta ordered the district to be opened by next week and the deputy county commissioner will be at the place to start working.
“Jubilee is interested in development you have asked me the new district at Etago I have said here by next week Etago will be the new district ,” said president kenyatta
“I know now services will be improved in the area, when job opportunities comes you benefit like other parts of the country ,”he added
Kenyatta added that jubilee government deserves the to be reelected in the next general election which will be on Tuesday next week
“I promised to continue developing gusii region that ever please support me to win,” he adds.
