Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka. [Kenya-today.com]Kitutu Chache South Member of Parliament Richard Onyonka has urged Gusii newly elected MPs to meet him so that he can show them how CDF kitty is used to benefit constituents in the next five years.
Onyonka said if they misuse the funds let them be ready to be voted out in 2022 and insisted that there is a need for them to be told how the kitty is used to benefit residents.
Speaking in Kisii town on Monday, Onyonka advised MPs-elect in Gusii region especially those elected for the first time to make sure they know how the CDF money is used and to understand that better they should look for him.
“I have done many developments in my constituency through CDF kitty and if this newly elected MPs misuse the money 2022 they will not be reelected,” said Onyonka.
He also challenged all Kisii county MPs to work closely with Kisii county government to develop their constituencies in development projects.
“We need to accept that Ongwae is our governor and we need to work with him to benefit our residents,” he added.
