Police recruitment exercise will be held in different sub-counties in Uasin Gishu on Thursday, May 11.

Speaking, Wednesday at his office, Lowoi told those who wish to be recruited that there were conpeople who were out there trying to solicit money from the youth.

He said they were preying on those who were searching for the position and asking them to part with some amount in order to get into the service.

“Let me tell youth that this is the time such con people will be preying on them asking for money on the pretext that they know the police bosses hence they will secure them the job,” Lowoi said.

He asked them not to accept to be cheated but participate in the exercise genuinely instead of being cheated and lose the money in the long run.
