[Photo|Courtesy]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has received a major boost, after the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Cotu), declared support, for its presidential bid.Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli, said Nasa was the best outfit to vote for, in August 8, after their rivals, Jubilee Party, was voted for, in the 2013 general elections.Speaking during a funeral service in Western Kenya, Atwoli called on the Luhya community to cast their votes in Nasa, to be sure that they are one people."If you put your votes in one basket, for Nasa, even if you fail, you'll know that you stood as one people and you did your best. If you spread your votes, you'll be doing more harm to yourselves," said Atwoli.Speaking, Wednesday, he noted that Nasa co-principals Musalia Mudavadi (ANC party leader), and his Bungoma senator counterpart Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), shelved their presidential ambitions and stood together to support Raila Odinga, and so they should be supported."At times, people support their own, if they supported others. It is now time for you to be supported. Vote for Nasa and see the Luhya community get to power," Atwoli urged the Luhyas.
