Chief Justice David Maraga has dared Jubilee regime to disband the Judiciary.

Maraga speaking on Tuesday was responding to constant attacks on the Judiciary following the nullification of the presidential election early this month.

Maraga stated that the demonstrations by Jubilee supporters on Tuesday morning outside the Supreme Court were meant to intimidate the judges.

He further cited a recent case in Kirinyaga where a petitioner was blocked from accessing the court premises.

"Martha Karua was blocked from a court in Kirinyaga. This amounts to intimidation of petitioners," he said.

"We call upon all Kenyans of goodwill to turn out and defend the independence of the Judiciary," he said.

After the results, nullification leaders from the Julibee side launched attacks on the judiciary with President Uhuru Kenyatta saying that he will have to revisit the institution in case he wins the re-election.
