Coast regional coordinator Nelson Marwa has asked politicians aggrieved after last Tuesday's general election to seek legal redress.

He at the same time appealed to all leaders to preach peace instead of inciting wananchi."There’s always a next time. If you feel aggrieved, seek legal redress," he noted as quoted by the Star. The coordinator further told all civil servants in the region to resume work Monday or face the sack.He said there's no cause for fear as the county was safe, noting that a head count will be conducted in all public offices. He at the same time asked traders to open their shops, arguing that their closure portrayed an image that there's tension in the region."Investors should know that the whole of Coast region is calm. People should open their business premises and resume operations," added the coordinator on Saturday. He said for the first time, the region has had peace during and after polls."This is because of the youth who have accepted to keep peace,” Marwa told journalists on Mama Ngina Drive in Mombasa. He was accompanied by Coast regional police commander Larry Kieng and regional AP boss James Akoru.
