A section of Kisii County youths has blasted NASA coalition of accusing acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i over his strong stand on the August 8 polls.

Addressing the press in Kisii on Thursday county youths led by Dennis Orioki said Matiang’i is working within the law when he directed voters go home after voting and wait for the results at home something NASA is opposing.

On Tuesday Nasa toured Kisii county for their campaigns and insisted that voters must remain at polling stations after voting and accused Matiang’i of playing the Jubilee tune.

“Matiang'i has done a  good job in this country and must be respected by NASA because he is working for Kenyans," said Orioki.

“We are not happy with what NASA said against Matiang’i when he toured here [Kisii county] on Tuesday we challenge NASA to keep off our son, Matiang’i is working within the law,” added Orioki.

Orioki called on county residents to also elect visionary leaders to benefit them in development in Kisii county and even nationally.
